This big stone is a tomb from the ancient times of the sagas and legends of our ancestors. The great painter Georg Emil Libert from Denmark was born in the 19th century and is famous today for his lifelike landscape motifs, which are often associated with the romantic era. I managed to simplify this difficult motif to 43 colors without losing the weight of the stones and the lightness of the snow. Even the ravens in the snow can still be clearly seen. The minimum recommended size of the cross stitch pattern is 300 x 200 stitches, but it can optionally be increased to 300 x 240 stitches. The motif is optional. This significantly reduces the workload when embroidering and the motif comes into its own much more clearly. The colors and patterns are well coordinated and smoothed out. Thus, the effort involved in embroidering is noticeably less.
